Individual choices we make (biking to work, picking up litter, buying less plastic/disposable stuff) do help the planet, but it’s our efforts to make structural changes (passing a Bottle Bill, improving the non-driving options for a city, reducing impervious surface) that really bring about change.

Lots of beer and food options at @bcbrewing.bsky.social (across the street from the Light Rail, although they need good bike racks) and a good rest point before heading to Mt. Washington to right the last segment. Can’t wait for Baltimore Co. DPWT to connect the NCR Trail down to Lake Roland Park.

Beautiful ride along the @marylanddnr.bsky.social NCR/Torrey C. Brown Trail past Monkton and all the way down to Ashland with SO many people enjoying the trail, then a couple of lousy on-street miles to get to the @mta.maryland.gov Gilroy Road Light Rail Station.
