As a longtime PoGO player, you noticed themes and patterns. Placing the X&Y legendaries in raids right before the Unova Tour is not something that one would expect. Also, the last time they had the mega master league in GBL, it was pulled because of technical glitches. So, there's something here!

I wouldn’t go that far, but I do think that they overplayed their hand. My complaint is more about this being elite raids 2.0, and so the “good” mon are really inaccessible

It think Excadrill and Metagross are the only ones currently worth doing anything for since you can get hundos for raids and PVP

I agree, they don’t realize how high a bar they’ve set. If in the end, these Gmax mon stay locked behind gmax battles and cannot be used to raid or PvP, then the fanbase may lose interest

Pogo is using these to build towards beating the better gmax mon, tho. It gets increasingly more accessible if everyone has a gmax mon to battle with, but they make it near impossible to beat with <15 if you don’t. They feed the FOMO

They probably didn't even consider how annoyed players would be having relobby 6x to get a favorable moveset. With large groups, this can get frustrating. Matters only get worse if you end up losing. I know they dangled the Mushroom for more damage, but our F2P players don't want to spend!

That's exactly my point. Idk who told @niantic-labs.bsky.social that Charge TM RNG and Gmax/Dmax RNG is fun, but it isn't. It just alienates the fanbase. @pokemongo-eng.bsky.social

Believe it or not, we rerolled like 6 times. The farthest we go was half health before it kicked us all out. We have 5 Gmax Toxtricity as well in the back. The thing that bothers me the most is that it's really not consistent. Some group of 11 players will make it others won't. My group's tired
