There hasn't been any new peaks in a while, except last week had one that was close. It's an inherently flawed calculation, but its the best I could think of

It relies on the media to post things that classify as fascist. Not many articles this past week have been matching the 14 characteristics of fascism.

The way the current calculation works - it counts the amount of articles classified each day and it takes the average of the 3 highest days and that determines the threat.
The system depends on media outlets reporting - which isn't a perfect system, but the best we can do for now : )

There are no articles about him, he's a political commentator which wouldn't show up on the site. The site only classifies articles that mention direct actions / impacts that the current administration is doing. And people closely tied in with them

Threat is still the same for all time - the rolling month window is why it went down. Sorry for the confusion!

Will also feature articles that don’t have a high enough confidence score for the 14 step main view (>75% confidence score) and I this removes that. So if you see more articles here, that’s why.
