It’s kind of weird, but when a guy gets lit up most of his starts, his ERA and losses go up. Maybe you can do some serious computations as to why that happens.

Since October 2024, he was their least reliable starting pitcher, always just a short wait for the next implosion. Honestly got way more out of Randy Vasquez last year. Now to have people acting like he’s some Angel’s era Nolan Ryan kind of unlucky is just hilarious.

This is what was being said in ‘23, because they got horrible pieces around the main guys, he got lucky last year with his pick ups, then went right back to crap this year. All the worse because of a couple of the main guys absolutely suck as well.

Seems like spilling it out in the open while courting Roki couldn’t have helped. Like having your mom and dad go Jerry Springer the first time you bring your GF over for dinner.

Can’t tell if she actually thinks she’s helping (obviously isn’t), or yeah, just wants to be center of conversation.

Can’t argue, when the musical chairs of realignment left them holding the bag yet again, it was all over. There’s next to no scenario where they can be relevant and fill that place. They took a swing and missed, but get out and invest where you can win.

No way. Less than 15 months ago, he was DFA’d by Rocks, then sat as FA until Padres signed him for 1m. Much more likely he returns to that territory than he repeats his first half of ‘24 for even one full season. 2/24 max

Obviously, don’t know if it will be the same, but Padres are available on MLB.TV for 20/month or 120/year. Or cable package and DirectV stream. MLB package way better if you’re not doing a subscription already
