It was chest + back + arm day and mine are obliterated. Also made this vegan turkey roll that I got heavily discounted. 99% sure I’ll be the only one eating it. 😂

Only took me 430 days since buying Baldur's Gate 3 to beat the game...486.5 hours. I just wanted to try a game with good reviews and was not disappointed. #bg3

Netflix to Buy Warner Bros. Discovery in Major Streaming Deal
Netflix to Buy Warner Bros. Discovery in Major Streaming Deal
Netflix today announced that it will acquire Warner Bros. Discovery's vast studios and streaming operations for $82.7 billion. The transaction will see Netflix acquire Warner Bros., HBO, and HBO Max in a cash-and-stock deal valued at $72 billion in equity and $82.7 billion, including debt (via Reuters). The acquisition gives it control of major franchises, including DC, Game of Thrones, Harry Potter, Looney Tunes, and the Warner Bros. film library, dramatically expanding the volume and diversity of content available under one streaming umbrella. The acquisition also gives Netflix the established HBO brand and its library of prestige television series such as The Sopranos, Succession, and The Wire. Netflix said that it intends to maintain Warner Bros.' theatrical distribution, preserve HBO Max as a discrete service in the near term, and integrate HBO and Warner Bros. content into its own catalog. Today, Netflix announced our acquisition of Warner Bros. Together, we’ll define the next century of storytelling, creating an extraordinary entertainment offering for audiences everywhere. https://t.co/rXPFMNIs1A pic.twitter.com/0pdsMUEob8— Netflix (@netflix) December 5, 2025 Netflix confirmed that each Warner Bros. Discovery shareholder will receive $23.25 in cash and $4.50 in Netflix stock per share. The deal is contingent on Warner Bros. Discovery completing the previously announced separation of Discovery Global into a standalone company in the third quarter of 2026, as well as regulatory approval. The transaction is expected to take 12 to 18 months to complete. Reports in October claimed that Apple was interested in acquiring Warner Bros. Discovery's extensive back catalog of content for Apple TV. With that prospect now firmly ruled out, ‌Apple TV‌ is highly likely to face heightened competition from Netflix in the years to come. A supermoon is lighting up our skies, and this one shows up before sunset! 🌕🧪

The next supermoon rises on December 4, as the Moon reaches perigee. That is its closest orbital point to Earth, where it can appear up to 14% larger and 30% brighter than a typical full moon.

I have 2Gig fiber to my home now but as a teenager we started with a 2400bps modem before 28K, 56K, and Cable. Today not 833 times faster but 833,333 times faster now. That's wild to me.

My evening in pictures. The ritzy part of Dallas -> Park Cities. One thing I forget about fancy restaurants is how the food portions are a bit on the smaller side. We cook at home close to 5 days of the week and it saves a good 60%.

Friday I helped out a former owner of this house who got 5 packages delivered to my door from Lowe's when she moved cross country. Valued around $1k. Handled within hours, a lot of unscrupulous people would've just stolen her stuff.

My Sunday weekend movie choice - A House of Dynamite (2025). The plot probably has holes and what they're describing might not be possible with the current technology in place. Reminds me a little bit of Wargames (1983) and The Hunt For Red October (1990).
