Less than 17 SDGs = No SDG

Rarely. What usually happens is domestic demand slows.

Domestic manufacturing doesn't see corresponding increases as the original demand is predicated on lower foreign production prices. Such models cease to be viable, leading to job losses. Meaning less disposable income & lower spending.

It is unsound to compare them to each other. It should be compared against total, general degree performance. Which is the following from that report.

The analytical degrees match the general degree distribution for full-time work. Despite the non-science CAH being 59% of the graduate pool.

Sadly, this means the IMPORTANT stats are the ones for full-time employment.

But...

One for @quorators.bsky.social & @quoramoments.bsky.social .

Posts explaining documented links between Donald Trump 2016's win & the UK Brexit vote have been removed by the site.

Answers demonstrating proven links between Cambridge Analytica & SCL Group have been erased.

We had an interesting discussion about the raw material sources of our 100% recycled stationery range.

Any idea what these were beforehand?

Delighted to join our clients at @lner.co.uk for the Green Business Awards 2025 where they won the Circular Economy Project of the Year for the Automedi circularity hub.

Tackling the #plasticpollution problem needs creative, transformative and system change solutions.

For example, dealing with ruined plastic bags by transforming them into mouse mats (available in our shop)

Thank you @lner.co.uk for being brilliant partners.

You may have heard of the political compass.

Overlaying political ideology on the compass makes for some interesting reading.

Do you agree with everything on it? Not sure I do.

It's known as the "Dead Sea Effect"
May 19, 2025 at 12:21 PM
Indeed. Trying to out-Reform, Reform was always going to lead to that. It's completely the wrong approach

It's no surprise. It was a trap and he fell right into it.

While the Peterborough team are at London's Natural History Museum, the boss is... Sunbathing?

He should be on the bike!

The number of people in #MAGAregrets is bad, but they didn't regret enough. Not enough of them do and many completely stand by their vote and will blame every other scapegoat.

A quick reminder.

Happy Earth Day 2025.

The worst year for it so far. 😭

How do we fix this?

But Intersex people self-defining as male or female (biologically they can be chromosomally ambiguous - see image). The move to define only two sexes biologically under Equality Act, means Intersex people cease to exist & cannot self define into a characteristic that is protected.

Watch the vid, as it explains towards the end.

Trans people are protected under Gender Reassignment.
April 18, 2025 at 8:11 AM
The Equality Act 2010 protected characteristics for reference
April 18, 2025 at 8:04 AM
While they could, even with this ruling the Equality Act 2010 provisions mean that would be considered discriminatory.

Meaning a cis woman who is perceived to be trans by police and searched as if she was, has been discriminated against.

Perception isnt a defence by the act.

UK rail's shares are just open market shares anyone can buy (unlike European state owned rail) Euro state rail operators bought & invested in UK rail, dividends is are taken not reinvested & UK passengers pay more. Subsidising rail in Europe.

Compare these 2 similar routes. 67% more expensive
April 15, 2025 at 5:54 AM
It's more nuanced.

State enterprises are private sector.

They operate all EU transport & most of health. Orders of magnitude more efficient than public sector & profits goes back to Gov to reinvest.

Greater Manchester understands this in transport & are even surprised by surpluses

This is a false equivalence.

Worse is PR can be completely facilitative in driving fascist authoritarianism.

People seem to forget that the father of fascism, Mussolini was elected using a proportional representation system.

PR is not a magic bullet.

It appears Labour are playing the strategy Campbell and Stewart suggested on election night. That it must deal with the single issue of Reform UK to neutralise it.

Sadly, that hasn't made a difference as it won't. You can't pander to the far-right & they stop. They continuously want more

But it blacklisted all 10 GMCA councils as a fraudulent liability.

Peterborough, the LNER network and Arizona got them instead.

Stockport MBCs problems are of Stockport's own making. It chose to put itself in that position
