Among the material devastation to everyday people, Senate Dems have now blown a hole in their ability to work with the House.
We had an agreed upon plan, House took immense risk, then Senate turned around midway and destroyed it w/ a fear-based, inexplicable abdication.

I've worked on campaigns since college. I've always enjoyed the work because, at the end of the day, politics is all about relationship. And we've lost that in America today. We must do better. That's why I started @anchoringdemocracy.bsky.social, to change the way we "do" politics.

Not complicated: America must always be THE unique land of opportunity. And immigration is a VERY good thing. And immigrants have ALWAYS helped make America THE unique land of opportunity. So we must GREATLY increase legal immigration & make it EASIER for immigrants to come here.
