Audiobooks definitely count as reading (as well as listening). If you've played through an audioook, its perfectly fine to describe that as "I have read [x]"
All other forms of assistive software count as reading too 💙📚

Some of you know how obsessed we are with Birdie by J. P. Rose. It's one of our books if the year and deserves to be a classic. Middle grade, friendship, identity, family, set in post-war Britain in a pit village, where Birdie befriends a pit pony. Gorgeous book!

I'm going to start Readwyrm here on Bluesky with this gorgeous wordless picture book from Aaron Becker: The Last Zookeeper. It comes highly recommended by my 9-year-old test reader. And it has perhaps the best book trailer I've ever seen.
