I tried embroidery once but I wasn't immediately good at it so I never picked it up again :p In all seriousness, really enjoy seeing your designs

They are! And I love that Startup Hell is almost color-coded with it, with the purple edges and the orange cover! Details like that are delightful. (ahah I know which is why I pointed it out 😁 The infamous Android camera even made the visible titles blurry...)

(As a sidenote, sorry to have turned your book around but those orange "witchy" edges are just too pretty not to display)!

Oh no! But a good thing to have such a full shelf 😁 Although I'm not a big fan of how the square cubicles look in this one, I'm glad it's quite sturdy

Ik!! Just read about the whole thing online and am so heartbroken! The first 3 books are stunning and now it's all ruined 😭

(sidenote: it is so fucking sweet to me that the author dedicates this to his wife, whom in turn has dedicted her book to him!!)

Sounds amazing! Looks it too

Examples: my friend Paul always wrote interesting and well-written pieces that made me want to have as much fun as he had had:

And your reviews at NoaF, which are always so thought-provoking, particularly this one by Clara

My favorite reviews are those where either the reviewer's personality peeks through or their research/knowledge is evident. Critique is seeing a work through another's perspective. Personally uninterested in reviews that say "Book is bad because it didn't do exactly what I wanted/thought it should"

When They Burned the Butterfly by Wen-Yi Lee. Female gang in 1970s Singapore mixed in with fantasy and a touch of eldritch horror 🙂

There have! Probably because readers are showing such appreciation for them. Just read one that was also a debut and it was a delight. I do love a good series though and miss jumping into a longer one
