This is going to be tough given the average 1st World diet. (No salt snacks, fast food, or soy sauce for you!!)
I've been on a 'sodium avoidance' diet for 7-8 years now. I cannot use potassium-based salt substitutes. I'd estimate that my daily intake averages between 1500-2000 mg/day.
