Today’s #dogventure was a lovely jaunt around Jubilee and Oak Bay

What are you doing that you LOSE CONTROL WHILE REVERSING ??
At 4:45 p.m., in Colwood, a driver was reversing on Ocean Boulevard when they lost control, hitting a parked car which was then pushed over the embankment onto the beach.

Yesterday I made (enough for tonight’s dinner too) a gorgeous pot of beans, fresh cheese and fresh tortillas for tostadas to go with the avocado, chorizo and pickled onions I already had 🍜🍽️

Today’s much earlier #dogventure was a springtime delight

The dog really wanted to chase it but I had to hold his harness to keep him back so the cat wouldn’t run into the road as cars kept driving by. Eventually a nice couple saw what was happening and herded the cat into a yard and kept it there so we could go around the corner and it would stop following. Yay for nice strangers! I thanked them.

I made this once, for a Twitter black box cooking competition. It looked beautiful and tasted like dirt still. It was beet and ginger pudding with I forget what in the whipped cream and a tuile of some sort. Not a helpful response but at least it’s pretty 😂
