These get such a workout when you do poses like a jasmine, or a genie over and over again. And then you have to sit with you legs straight for the next two days because the backs of your knees are too raw and bruised to handle touching anything. The images show red, raw skin on the back of the knees. A woman hanging on a vertical pole with her top knee bent and gripping the pole while the bottom leg is out straight towards camera. She is supported by an arm gripping the pole on either side of her. The last image is of the same woman at her desk drawing, but her feet are resting on the wall because bending them would hurt. The third shows the PT person explaining why her pain isn't bad enough for more PT. The fourth has a more detailed internal drawing of the knee, showing the location of the pain and a man very smugly saying a 4 out of 0 pain wise is FINE.

The trailblazing transgender rights activist Miss Major has passed away at the age of 78.

Miss Major was a lifelong organizer and participant in the ballroom scene. She took part in the 1969 Stonewall Riots and was injured by the police — but she kept fighting.
