I don't understand blocking a quote post - how do I attribute? A screenshot? Here is an anonymous screenshot

Had I paid attention to the AI aspect of Arc Raiders I probably wouldn't have bought it last night. That's a real bummer. I haven't played it yet but that doesn't sound promising.

The grocery near me sells a 4 pack of tall guiness cans for about ~9.90. Right next to it, and this is an all the time thing, they also sell an 8 pack of the same size cans for ~9.80. A few pennies less and 4 more cans. Its a weird but I appreciate it.
Both are more expensive than last years photo

I finally figured out how to link my Bluesky posts to blog entries without manual steps, thanks to a quick update using Copilot AI. Now tracking is smoother, and my workflow feels a lot less tedious. https://rawlinson.us/blogging/fix-bluesky-posting-of-blog/

Holy cow the download on Arc Raiders is killing me. I wont even get to launch it tonight. I hope I play it at some point.
November 12, 2025 at 12:07 AM
Some co-workers suggested the game Arc Raiders so I watched the trailer (2 minutes) and bought it. I don't see any value in the "deluxe" offering. The premise sounds fun and, so long as I dont *have* to play multiplayer I'll probably have fun.
If I have to play multiplayer..I'll still have fun?

There are a few disc golf feeds on here but most of them (including the one I have pinned) are full of things not related to disc golf.)

Disc Golf Skys seems like the cleanest option so I'm switching up.

My three goals for the 2025 disc golf season

* End of Year Rating - 920 ✅ 923!
* One tournament win - ✅ 2 both pro events even!
* At least one cash position at a pro event - ✅ 6!

Damn happy with how it went

I came across a straightforward PHP method for calculating the distance between two latitude and longitude points, and it's surprisingly easy to adapt for other languages in location-based projects. https://rawlinson.us/development/distance-between-two-latitude/

This is the stupid petty bullshit I expect at this point. This is the country Trump revealed to us.

Pettiness. What a fucking waste. It is literally the definition of who Trump is and folks advocate to be more like him while claiming they despise him.

Thank a veteran - but don't actually do shit for them.

Okay this post feels better; not as "click-baity"

I apologize to everyone in advance for a couple more test posts to validate.
I came across a cool Ruby script that solves a classic scheduling headache: making sure every team in a small league plays each other without repeat matchups. It makes double headers and odd team numbers way easier for league managers. https://rawlinson.us/development/ruby-round-robin-scheduling/

My automatic bluesky posting of blog stuff is pretty much done - and I'm _mostly_ happy with it. Yet, the auto-generated blurb text is kind of yuck. It feels so click-baity. I don't mind using AI to come up with the summary but I gotta fix the prompt to not leave me feeling dirty.

Today is Veterans Day in the USA. As a Veteran it one of my least favorite "holidays" because it is just pomp/circumstance and lip service.

We as a country don't honor our veterans. We throw soliders/sailers/marines/airman to the chopping block and then forget them when they are home.

Back in the day there were bundles of #music you could listen to that were titled "Indie/Rock Playlist of " I loved discovering new music that way and each month a bunch of new bands would end up becoming part of my soundtrack.

I miss that randomness. Things now feel too curated.
