Checked Ollie’s this weekend for the books other people are finding. We didn’t find those, but they did get in more yarn. The blanket yarn is gone now and was replaced by Red Heart Granny Square and Flower Power, marked down to $4.99.

The estate sale’s online listing showed a sampling of album covers and the one that caught my eye was Big Brother and the Holding Company. I never did find it but I also didn’t have the attention span to check every bin.

Kroger in northern Illinois has Shirley Temple 7up for $10.99 but buy two get two free. I bought three cases along with a case of Dr Pepper.
It’s a decent sale, even if my brain is stuck in 1992 and thinks it should only be $4 per case.

Today was the third time in two weeks that I went to Joann’s after deciding that I was not going anymore. The 90% off buttons and zippers got me today. No yarn for me today because it was just loopy yarn and woobles yarn left. 🧶

I went in to Joann’s to check on the yarn situation (now at 40% off) and saw this bit of delight in the fabric section. 🧶

Earlier this week, I did online panic buying from Joann’s in case they go out of business, and the box arrived today completely beat to shit and had a few tears in it. I turned my back to get a box cutter and one of the cats climbed into the box through the rips. This was my view once I opened it.

Minor complaint Friday: I caught this useless cutie yesterday and and I’m still kind of mad about it. Why does Pokémon Go bother seeding shinies into the game with such low values? If he wasn’t shiny, I would have ground his bones into dust for the candy.

This has to be the laziest product design I’ve seen recently. Someone at Funko actually thought they were clever making this a square mug so they could squeeze on an image of the side of the box as well as the front and back.

Spotted this at Goodwill yesterday… are there really that many people out there who genuinely do not like their kids? This kind of cup seems to be entire category, because I keep seeing things like this at thrift stores.
