Tank Update ~ a little ecosystem is thriving! Sweet potatoes seem to really love growing in an aquarium too! I think I need better lighting though... 😕🤔

Just saw Princess Mononoke in the IMAX in 4k with my girlfriend and bestie.
I forgot how good that classic is. It's easily one of the greatest animated films of all time. Now time for pizza. #girlsnightout

I had another pickle party tonight with myself and I.
I made 2 more jars of Korean lobok and another jar of bell peppers, a jar of purple and white carrots and a jar of mini white onions with a jumbo quartered thrown in.
Same brine recipe as before but I added an 1/8th cup sugar, my gfs suggestion.

I went skating yesterday for the first time in YEARS!! I grew up in the desolate Canadian north, where we used to be able to skate to school every winter.
Anywho, I got to wear figure skates for the first time in my life, I LOVE THEM SO MUCH!!
There is public skating every Friday, I wanna go more!!

Anywho, I got to wear figure skates for the first time in my life, I LOVE THEM SO MUCH!!

Happy Lunar New Year! I made Mooncakes! Salted duck egg yolk, lotus filling mooncakes. No I don't have a mold so I wrote snake in Mandarin.
I made them from scratch!
Omg they turned out soooo goooooood!!!
Holy heck this was a ten hour process.... holy heck I will do this again!!

Yup, It's been all of a day, and I LOVE my new Japanese style futon.
It can fold up and go in the side of the room, or it's plenty compact enough to put in a closet.
I never want a permanently fixed bed again.
On another note, I also got a new table!!!

My space keeps evolving. I've added a Japanese style floor futon to my arrangement. I love how I'm now able to maximize my space during the day.

One Ghost Shrimp passed away, it was really big and possibly old and unable to handle the transition.
Please welcome Poppy the Cherry Shrimp. I hope they and the others like their new home. I'm trying to keep it clean and comfortable.
