The COVID vaccine & boosters seem to have given me permanent costochondritis crazy enough. I’m the only one I know who had any permanent negative side effects like this though.

Tbh I use it a lot more than Bluesky. It’s very pop culture oriented so it’s great for discussing movies and video games. I find Bluesky’s algorithm kinda weird. It’s a lot of like basic news I already heard and art?

I love my Metroid theme on my 3DS that even plays Metroid music on the menu. I’m surprised Nintendo hasn’t added this to the Switch menu.

I feel like Hunger Games is more sci-fi than fantasy? Though I know the two genres are deeply connected.
Also, I love Brandon Sanderson’s fantasy books! Mistborn is a great series.

Well to be clear from what I understand the issue is more-so in places like LA and SF. Not California as a whole.
I mean do you just deny that supply and demand is a phenomenon or is there something special about housing for you?

I mean I am for things like rent increase caps and building cheap government housing too. I just also think allowing the private sector to also build more housing will help! I take an all of the above approach.

I could be wrong, but to my knowledge LLMs aren’t even AI (at least as it used to be defined). They’re just big static statistical output programs. AIs are supposed to involve some sort of “learning” like Google’s AlphaGo and AlphaZero - LLMs just analyze very large datasets (at least I think!).

One of my all-time favorite video games and what got me into Final Fantasy. I remember being blown away by the graphics when I first saw it at my friend’s house, and to this day it’s still my favorite video game story by far. Music was beautiful too.

Right, but if renters have more options from different landlords that drives the overall price down. Same with if there’s 10 companies selling deodorant rather than 1 with a monopoly. Also we want more people living in cities since it’s productive so that’s another reason to build!

Definitely worth doing! The whole series is finished now and it’s well worth it. It’s my favorite anime, and if the rest of Frieren is as good as S1 then that will prob be my second favorite!

Frieren, Jujutsu Kaisen, Solo Leveling, and Attack on Titan are all incredible, especially Frieren and AoT!

I agree. The previous Deadpool movies combined comedy (with a few wall-breaks) with some genuinely touching themes/moments.
I enjoyed Deadpool & Wolverine, but it felt more like a constant comedy gag.

I started with Emerald, and it was cool going back and playing Yellow! I did follow it up with playing Crystal. I thought it was okay, but maybe I’m just biased because I loved its remake Soul Silver.

Yea, I’m curious what will happen in Syria. Can they make a single, unified government? How Islamist will it end up being and how will human rights be? Regardless I think it is good that Assad is falling though.

I just want my deductible to not be $4k before anything is covered…I have health issues but that’s too much to spend on diagnostic stuff. But sure God forbid I get into a massive car accident $4k is a lot cheaper than $50k or whatever.

I think Wii U was one of the biggest naming failures I’ve seen. X-Box has similar issues with like X-Box One X vs. X-Box Series X, but I guess the type of people who buy those consoles are more likely to be informed?
