I’ve no respect for Mone but she & her husband are comparative small fry in the VIP lane scandal so her accusation of scapegoating is not entirely groundless. Let’s see if this result leads to further legals. I’d suggest not holding your breath though…

1/ MONEY. Elon has 100x the financial resources Trump has. He’s the largest donor in the history of the party Trump leads by a factor of ten; Trump can’t (and wouldn’t even if he could) replace the loss of Musk as a GOP donor. Trump is also _far_ greedier than Musk; $1 to Musk is like $100 to Trump.
