Not at all tbh, Japan has a very different view of “used” items, least where I’ve shopped for them ie mandarake and surugaya are pteetty strict on things actually being complete and in good condition

Very true, they have to do that sort of thing if they want to maintain their vaunted $4 domestic shipping too. It’s just bad all around and there’s not much we as consumers can do about it

Yeah it’s getting absurd across the board, and if things do calm down with the yen or with tariffs or with inflation it’ll take a long ass time for prices to go down if they ever do

I’ve been the same way lately, doesn’t help that prices have started getting to eyebleeding levels on everything. In Japan cause of the weak yen and the US cause of the tariffs. It’s very discouraging
