Imo, people with Robot chars fall into 2 camps: They are Trans folks, they have something else going on that “others” them from the macro-organism that is humanity. Asexuality, autism, ADHD ect. The other camp are people who like sci-fi (perhaps wish to escape the weakness of flesh as concept).
