We used a combination of new optical tools and analytical approaches, and report that:

- Optogenetically elevating astrocytic cAMP induces arteriole dilation in anesthetized and awake mice.
- Mild opto-stimulation causing sensory-level cAMP elevations is sufficient to induce hyperemia.

Ok, guess I'm already late to the party here... The statement seems self-evident in its core essence, though if we accept generation to include recombination and projection from smaller parts, the real interesting question becomes how much inference and prediction is possible from which small parts?
