I'm not surprised they caved. They should have held firm, but they were desperate to be seen as the ones who got the airports back on track before the holidays. They really think they will be haled as heroes for that. They will be sorely disappointed to find most just see them as cowards & traitors.

Reducing costs at the expense of our health and the health of the planet? Sure. That's going to work out. Right? Who needs arable land or clean water?

Nothing wrong with that. I live 2 hours north of you, and I happily live in the past when I think of the Spurs.

It's interesting how he thinks if he says or writes something, then it will be true. Just tweet that things are rosy today, and all those losses yesterday will disappear. So much delusion in his tiny brain!

It was never smart, and a great many of us Texans did not want it. We haven't wanted the past gerrymanders either, but it seems to be a favorite of our Republican legislatures.

If that was my view, I would hardly ever go inside.

Agreed! We are already tripping over those types in Texas. We could definitely use some Mamdanis, though!

Tiny feral hogs are the most dangerous. They overwhelm you with cuteness and then strike a deadly, but adorable, blow.

Stephen Miller probably told them to do whatever they want as long as it doesn't help anyone in need.

The one where I live fell apart about 8 years ago. We gathered 3 interested people in May of this year, and each month since, we have gained 1-2 people. We are up to 11 now.

If you don't want to be a library board member, then join your local Friends of the Library group. They advocate for the library in your community and need people who care deeply about the freedom of information and the right to read.

Reminds me of how Greg Abbott benefited from suing over the accident that put him in a wheelchair but later supported tort reform that keeps other victims from holding companies responsible causing harm.

This hits the nail squarely on the head! I don't think there has been a more accurate political cartoon than this to sum up the situation we are in.

And he's wasted 100% of our money on everything else he and his administration has done.

I was wondering about the female guests at the party. Was there not a single woman there who was disgusted by the blatant pandering to male lust? Who thought of their own their own daughters and thought, "This is Epstein 2.0, and we must stand against it"? Nope, guess not.
