Got reintroduced to the term "people pleaser" recently. Not aimed at me, just in conversation about something else. But it reminded me that I was one in the past.

I think James Gunn has a thing for 7th episodes now that he does tv shows, because he always goes for the emotional nukes during episode 7 of both seasons of #Peacemaker and I never finish them with a dry eye. Chris and Harcourt's talk got me in 6 but this... 😭 FUCK.

After seeing (and loving) Fantastic Four: First Steps, I realized something. The way that audiences turned on these films was undeserved and I'm ashamed that I did too. Having given them another watch for the first time in ages, I definitely let the internet at the time sway my opinion of them.

A good friend of mine told me that I tend to attract broken people. He said that, it's not just because I myself am also broken, but somehow being around me, with me, etc., gives them something that helps them heal themselves a little bit.

If you haven't, both SUPERMAN and FANTASTIC FOUR are great movies to see in theaters while you still can.
I don't care that much about box office, I just think they are good, fun films full of heart that deserve to be seen.

As good as the first season was, I'd say there's an exceptionally strong argument for season 2 being even better. I'd back that argument without hesitation.
