Just a rad dude livin' in the city. Movie reviews, entertainment talk, one of the co-hosts of The Last Round-Up Horror Show Podcast.
Was it a masterpiece of horror cinema? No. Was it entertaining ? Absolutely. Martin Portlock plays a fantastically deranged Peter Pan trying to gather a flock of "Lost Boys" and take them to "Neverland". Instead, he brings brutality to their doorsteps. Great practical special effects. 7/10 for me.

As someone who doesn't enjoy traditional musicals I went into this flick with reservations. That being said, wayyy too much singing and dancing for me, but the story is fantastic. Tha acting is top notch and Defying Gravity is a tremendous song. I give it a 7/10. It's worth your time.

Lily Rose Depp, Bill Skarsgard, Willem Dafoe, and Nicholas Hoult are utterly brilliant in this fantastically Gothic tale of Good vs. Evil. My only complaint would be that the film is so dark in certain scenes it's hard to see the action. Otherwise, a modern day classic is born. I give it a 9/10.

Steve Martin, Rita Wilson, and Madeline Kahn star in this 1994 Christmas flick! It's a charming, warm, and an outright hilarious holiday gift with a stacked cast. Perfect Christmas Eve viewing. Happy Holidays from old Uncle Ray!

Pamela Anderson and Dave Bautista give two powerful performances in a film that explores what you'd give up to achieve and keep your dreams. A tremendously well crafted film with heart. See it when it hits theaters in January. Uncle Ray's Score-10/10

My #1 film for 2024 is The Wild Robot. Dune Part 2 jostled for that position too. Ultimately, no other flick this year made me feel as much joy as The Wild Robot...a perfect film? Your thoughts?
