If you loaded in after update without taking any other steps, you probably got your FPS guttered.
Try these, in order
- Backup game save
- Clear shader cache
- Verify game files
- Load game, change gfx settings to ultra
- Reload game, adjust settings to prefs

Continuing with OBS settings, be sure that under your streaming options, the proper hardware encoder for your chosen GPU is selected.
Don't be fooled by the apparent power difference between my GPUs, the Intel's AV1 encoding is actually significantly faster and more efficient than Nvidia's NVENC.

Continuing with OBS settings, be sure that under your streaming options, the proper hardware encoder for your chosen GPU is selected.

Below you can see that both Vtube Studio and OBS are utilizing the GPU under ID 0, which on my example system, it the second Intel Arc GPU.
This frees up the primary GPU for gaming performance, allowing less overhead to be lost to streaming applications, and more power used where needed.

I found that in windows, you can force the application to use a specific GPU, and I tested this with OBS and VTS to throw them at the Intel, while in Monhunt Wilds.
