Siding with frontline and Indigenous communities to protect our climate and keep forests standing. We challenge corporate power.
The Tropical Forests Forever Facility promises large-scale finance for forest protection. But this initiative could fall short if regulators don't move to limit financing towards forest-destroying industries.

Banks provided $429 BILLION to industries driving deforestation.

Despite a decade of net-zero pledges & sustainability promises, banks poured $429 BILLION into companies driving deforestation since 2016. Voluntary pledges have failed — it’s time to regulate finance.

Oreo producer Mondelēz's human rights policies don’t go far enough to protect the people who stand up to greedy agribusinesses. Without accountability, these suppliers get away with violence, intimidation & criminalization of forest communities.

Biomass energy is a false solution! It has no climate benefit and results in forests getting clearcut. And shamefully, it's being promoted by $250 billion spent in government subsidies globally. Learn more👇 @environmentalpaper.bsky.social

Our research shows that Oreo-maker Mondelēz International continues to do business with #PalmOil suppliers that are operating illegally in critical ecosystems and customary lands of Indigenous communities.

Join us to demand that Mondelēz adopt a robust human rights policy!

Let's be clear: billionaires are driving the climate crisis.

Despite contributing the least to climate change, it's people living in poverty who are disproportionately affected. The richest 1% emit as much carbon pollution as the poorest 5 BILLION people.

Just like you need insurance to drive a car, fossil fuel projects need insurance to operate. That means that, by providing insurance for this project, Chubb is allowing the exploitation & abuse of Freeport communities. Join us to call on them to STOP INSURING Freeport LNG.

Japanese bank MUFG was the 4th largest fossil fuel financier from 2021-2024, fueling climate chaos AND threatening frontline communities.

Last year Texan activists actually visited MUFG’s HQ to urge the bank to cut ties with Rio Grande LNG, a harmful methane gas project.

Huge global banks like MUFG can have a huge impact on human rights by adopting stronger due diligence and governance systems to STOP the funding of deadly fossil fuel projects. #DefundClimateChaos

Not only is MUFG’s fossil fuel financing driving us further into climate chaos, but it’s threatening communities around the world. Rio Grande LNG is one example – a harmful methane gas project that threatens the health, safety, and livelihoods of Indigenous, Latinx, & low-income communities in Texas
