Yup, goodbye editors, designers, translators etc. 2 reasons why I care - firstly, these are colleagues whose considerable skills are being relegated to AI. A human edits sensitively, with nuance. An AI editor ticks boxes. More selfishly, authors are the next obvious step. It’s all connected

Maybe I'm a pessimist but I see it as putting focus on AI rather than authors. How soon before we don't need a human author to write a book?

I was once employed by someone who insisted that I use Grammarly for all copy-writing. That didn't last long... Never understood this obsession with such tools, there's zero nuance.

I fully intend to steal this when I get writer's block and need to amuse myself 👌
