I'm not pushing back. I'm adding that too few people who were "just following orders" faced charges compared to e.g. the estimated ~4 M members of the SA and the ~0.8 M members of the SS. Some did in other trials e.g. the Frankfurt Auschwitz trials. But many who should have didn't.

I don't disagree. But I believe that neither nazis not ICE agents care much if their position is morally defensible, as long as they aren't held accountable for their actions. And while ICE agents should be held accountable, I expect that many won't. Just like many nazis weren't.

Afaik less than 150 people were convicted during the Nürnberg trials. I think many people who were "just following orders" got off the hook back then.
