Supported Arsenal since late Graham era. Interested in gaming and TV. Have a huge soft spot for Hleb and Eduardo for some reason.
Are you not aware that Henry dislikes Arteta? Wouldn't want Henry anywhere near this squad.

Thank you. The way we collectively lose patience on players is embarrassing. Merino and Cala have come into a turbulent season. They have levels to reach next season with more stability.

I think he'll largely go with the same line up and change things after half time.

It's just sad that we live in a time where trolling and trolling from established media is at an all-time high. Everything is about bragging rights and there is no patience with anything good. It almost makes sense to tune out all the noise, but it's almost unavoidable.

I've rewatched that goal a number of times. The sound of the ball being hit is something! He is a real forward who is only interested in scoring goals.

Great news. Was hoping for an external candidate to be chosen and he's certainly a very intriguing one.

I don't know why we are introducing more interpretation into the game. Either strictly adhere to it in every instance or don't bother.

This is an excellent team. We're missing some pieces in the forward areas and that's it.
February 26, 2025 at 11:52 PM
Good performance. They played like we were going for the win. This is a building block. Onto PSV.
February 26, 2025 at 9:49 PM
I'm proud of that performance. I was afraid we would go on a 2-3 game losing streak which is a pattern under Arteta. We stopped the bleeding and it's no shame to get a point at this seasons Forest side.
February 26, 2025 at 9:49 PM
The refs at PGMOL are still going by the 'dark arts FC' narrative. Forest know this and are going down at any opportunity. It's really frustrating.
February 26, 2025 at 9:49 PM
Smart if it wasn't an injury. Cala was a walking red card as well because he made that challenge on CHO.
February 26, 2025 at 8:33 PM
The ref has been such a 'homer' although the Hudson-Odoi decision in the box was good. I've seen so many times when the first cynical foul on Saka at the Ems has not seen a yellow dished out.
February 26, 2025 at 8:29 PM
It's 'building blocks' time. I can see things coming together. Just gotta keep working and see if something comes off!
February 26, 2025 at 8:28 PM
Yes, I got the opposite vibe to the first 5 minutes against West Ham. We are up for it. Hopefully we get the break through in the second half.
February 26, 2025 at 8:22 PM
I think we're trying things. Odegaard, Nwaneri and Trossard all playing closer together with Calafiori having the freedom to roam. Forest are defending deep so just got to be patient and see if one of our attackers can produce a magical moment.
February 26, 2025 at 8:21 PM
Yes, weirdly I think the noise that Arsenal fans ourselves makes after a loss is just if not more damning than the likes of Neville, Carragher or the AFTV lot.
February 26, 2025 at 7:27 PM
The disappointment on Saturday was just as much about how most of our players didn't play to their levels as much as not having a proper CF. We are more than good enough to win against Forest. We well truly see the mentality of these players tonight.
February 26, 2025 at 6:52 PM
If you think about it, we are only missing a proper CF. Trossard and Nwaneri could easily be first choice. Hope we put in a really good performance.
February 26, 2025 at 5:59 PM
I think this is really true. Twitter promotes controversy and anything that causes a reaction. It's been exhausting having to face the trolling there.
February 26, 2025 at 12:02 PM
I'm not sure I'm as mad as you about this. We know Trossard can cross to the back post. Odegaard had a really poor game and he didn't step up but that moment wasn't it.
February 22, 2025 at 7:41 PM
There was a Football Vision episode where a referee was interviewed by @philcosta.bsky.social. The referee mentioned the way to highlight a new rule was to be really strict with it a few times and then ratcheting it down over the weeks. We were the victims of that stupid policy.
January 19, 2025 at 5:14 AM
Really enjoyed the read. Very eloquent and insightful. When you look back at Arteta's tenure, he has done all the right things so let's keep going and see if we can cross over the line.
December 24, 2024 at 8:23 PM
I think PGMOL are aware of the 'darks arts' narrative. It takes a long time to make a throw in because everyone is marked. It's just utter incompetence.
December 22, 2024 at 11:24 AM
I'm not against structure at all. I remember when we used to bemoan how one dimensional we were trying to aesthetically walk the ball into the net under Wenger. I just think it's come to a time where we need better talent to finish the chances we create.
