Belly celebrated the 30th anniversary of their album King at Thalia Hall in Chicago. I loved going to a show where I could sing along with every song AND stand 10 feet away from the band. This is so much more fun than any arena show.

I did a knee-jerk outrage post about @wikipedia.org using LLMs even as they fundraise under a "Knowledge is human" slogan. (Screencap from en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gerryma...)

As soon as I did, the post that alerted me to it was deleted, and I started to wonder if there was something more insidious...

One great thing about gatherings like "No Kings" is that it's a form of touching grass: I was perfectly fine joining thousands of my fellow Chicagoans in public, in daylight, raising our voices, and we're in no actual danger from the blustering authoritarians trying to label us terrorists.
