Worked on the bonnet some more today, adding trim & some ruffles on the inside. When I was done, I had to try on the whole ensemble & it looks incredible! Not bad for a girl with nothing but a vision and a hot glue gun

Case in point - I’ve bedazzled (added flowers & a green trim) to my bonnet so it pulls in the colors of my skirt

Had a studio recital today. I sang a little piece by Bizet. It’s a 19th century banger & fun to perform, although it doesn’t sit super well on my voice. But the audience enjoyed it

My hair stylist dyed my brows on Saturday, and left it on a little long so they look crazy (usually they only look crazy day of and then it tapers off).

A bit of nostalgia for me is going to a car wash where they have a viewing room & store. My dad used to take us to one of these all the time when I was growing up in FL
