I just have to appreciate that now we know where he's bringing all the heat from.

You dared to observe protests in 2020 to document police brutality. That was enough for them.

Sometimes I miss those green hats.

Opinion on things as sort of a sanity check. Plenty of times that it's come across something that I forgot or was looking right past, but at the same time plenty of times that I've had to correct it

I will say that it has been useful as a tool. But only a tool. Everything that it puts out needs to be verified before actually being used, but I have definitely found it useful for a way to put in a lot of information about something and help me organize it to better use it, or to give me a second

If this is the one that I think it was he got torn apart by the judge cuz it pulled like three different cases that didn't exist and another two or three that didn't say anything close to what they actually said. The lawyer claimed it was the first time he'd ever used GPT and he didn't know that

Not familiar with that case, but at least that sounds like a real case. As opposed to the lawyer who got sanctioned for a judge for letting AI write their entire filing, and it pointed to cases that don't even exist.

I think it was this one www.youtube.com/live/T5YaGAC...

Oh boy ... so much for 'let's focus on it hallucinating'. Not kidding at all, last night I had it insist three times that a legal statute did not exist, while using the legal statute's link that I was giving it as evidence that the statute didn't exist.

That said, vxtiktok.com appears to successfully be able to strip the tracking info from links (just add vx in front of any tiktok link you send), it's also used on services like Discord to fix embed functions.

the person on Discord saw them click the link. And link cleaners won't catch it because they have to open the link and wait to find the ultimate destination to get a cleanable link.

That's about as anti-user privacy a move as I think can exist.

Don't forget, we criticize other countries leaders for 'gassing their citizens'.

Well, we used to. Now we probably lobby for them to get Nobel prizes.

Damn, wait, too late for that one.

choice but to escalate his rhetoric because that's how clout chasing works. You have to always outdo your rivals, and when everyone's racing to the bottom, you start having to make more and more outlandish claims

I feel like the 'end goal' is that people like Andy Ngo are losing their minds trying to reconcile animal costumes with claims of Molotov cocktails being thrown around, as though something as crazy as a giant inflatable frog throwing something like that wouldn't noted and filmed.

And yet he has no

I would say he sounds like he's becoming unhinged, but I really think he's just having to escalate his rhetoric just to maintain relevance, especially with the ear of people he's gotten recently.

I've seen similar behavior in other corners of the internet before.

Wait, partner of convicted kitty corn procuring individual Jeff Church?

They're not sending their best, not their brightest ...

on the roof with at least a half dozen mask civilian law enforcement personnel and a freaking lawn chair. If the 18th person in line for succession to the presidency can calmly walk around that roof, in broad daylight, Portland is absolutely not burning down, and the Guard is not needed

getting harangued by the judge for violating the judges orders and filming people in the gallery. Back then his email was linked to far right think tank Discovery Institute, and I was just sitting there like 'I didn't go through the formal training you did and even I know better than this.'

Oh, damn, I never knew about this side of Choe. He blocked me years ago on the old site (I think before he got fired from KOMO) for criticizing his work, and then I was covering a court case in Portland (where he was there as a journalist on behalf of Andy Ngo) where I have courtroom video of him
