So I don't get to celebrate my birthday. My kids ate all the treats and my cake and my back up frosting and cake mix.
I'm really hurt and upset. I guess it will just be a normal Friday (my bday is the 26th).

The first was emotionally heavy but so wonderful. The second balanced the emotionally heavy parts with moments of levity, perfect. I am really enjoying this series. Slice of life anime/manga + magic. Heartwarming.

It was a great horror read.The tension kept you locked in. Decently paced. Breadcrumbed most plot twists perfectly, others I didn't see coming. It lacked real terror for me. I love the creatures they made up for this story. Super creepy and mysterious.

I'm almost finished with Book 1 Before the coffee gets cold. Thing 3 is a genius (he's the one turning 12 jic I messed that up). I think I'm gonna enjoy this series. I have physical copies of all the books so I can finish it.
This book is good so far.
