sometimes I really don’t get why ppl seem especially harsh on 55, one off quali and it erases all his ability. Before Monaco his median quali gap was the 2 smallest on the grid, that's after switching to a new team&engine supplier after 4 years, I thought it was obvious how well he’s been adapting

As for the race, tho being stuck behind was frustrating & affected his overall pace, he's actually quite good on soft. After entering Hulk's drs on lap43, he's fine-tuning his cornering in s3 for better exit speed while closing the gap, did really well in lap47 s3, then overtook on lap48 T1

...it’s understandable that Q3 was a bit tight (&it's 0.053 off albon, not that bad)
The penalty def made things tougher, especially at Suzuka, but comms with RE is also part of the learning process. I wouldn't say it's more the team or blame Jego, as Carlos said, he could've done better too
