'The Sixteen Trees of the Somme' by Norwegian author, Lars Mytting. Such a fascinating and compelling tale and well worth a read if you're looking for a book recommendation. Note: it's been translated into English in case you're not a fluent Norwegian speaker.

I wonder when that might be (Boundless becomes "cash stable") if ever. They're slippery worms, all of them, aren't they. Just as well you've been doing what you can to recoup some of the lost money (selling stacks of books directly).

My sister and I message back and forth a lot and experience frequent mistyping events. After a severe bout of mistypes we'd always add "ffs" and at Christmas, she sent me a keyring.

Today is my little pal’s tenth ‘Gotcha Day’. I brought Phoebs home from the RSPCA’s Southall cattery on 31st January 2015, when her whiskers were still black, initially as a foster, and the rest, as they say, was history. 🖤

Rael's the (anti)hero of Genesis's 1974 concept album ‘The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway’. It was the first Genesis album I bought as a student in the 1980s. It was weird, surreal and hallucinatory. For some reason, the character has stuck with me ever since. It seems unreal that it’s 50 years old now.
