I generally agree with what Amanda is saying here, you want to bring people back into the fold and welcome them. But I think if you were actively harming people and are at least margin responsible for why we’re are where we are today, maybe put the phone down?
So when I say that when I was a young Republican, I didn't realize it was inherently racist, okay, disbelieve me. Pretend I used the n-word or whatever. I didn't, but whatever you need to feel superior.
