I think the issue here is not all talking point are equal. Some are based innreality, some ignore reality. His talking point are much more grounded than the opposition’s.

The main debate is about me saying that calling Trump Hitler is not smart and will help him more than it will hurt him. Calling him (neo)fascist is the way to go.

I am fighting fascism.

Hitler-esque is not the same as Hitler, he’s a neofascist. That was my etire point. Also, the „roman salute” is not unique to nazis. All types of fascist do it.
