1924 Sep 15: Discovered by P. Finsler (Germany) at 4 mag with binoculars 6° above the horizon, sporting a 5° tail. Perihelion occurred already on Sep 4 at 0.41 au. The comet became fainter and was last seen already on Oct 19.
