Last night I saw TV On the Radio, a band I’ve loved since high school and there were all these random Phish fans. I myself a Phish fan remembered that Phish covered Golden Age and I guess they must have gotten a chunk of their fan base into TVOTR.

When Trump renamed the Department of Defense to Department of War, I did not balk at all. Actually, my first reaction was a sigh of relief. I thought “well at least he didn’t go full Orwell and name it the Department of Peace.”

ah yes stop and frisk, which was ruled unconstitutional and thus not "perfectly legal," would have for sure prevented the nevada resident from bringing his south carolina manufactured ar-15 into manhattan and the senator from louisiana is for sure in a position to decide for the residents of nyc

I don’t know why in the post Covid era year of our lord 2025 that people do not wear KN95 masks in festival porta potties. It makes it an actually tolerable experience.

Feels like ranked choice was absolutely decisive in this race—not because of the vote count, but because of how it changed the incentives from zero-sum to cooperapetitive. It allowed a fractured left field to align organically through co-endorsements instead of falling into a circular firing squad.

Anyone who knows the history of Jews in Christian Europe AND the history of Jews in the Islamic world knows that Jews were always safer in cities governed by Muslims.
Good to see that the Republican Jewish Coalition is telling Jews to "evacuate" the most Jewish city on earth outside of Israel.

The carnivore diet has to be the biggest grift of the decade. A handful of attractive social media influencers w/ dubious credentials in nutrition who are very obviously paid by the meat/dairy industry or selling their own supplements convinced thousands of people that vegetables are bad for you.
