3. Linking U.S. foreign policy to personal enrichment destabilizes the economy. Allies lose trust, international investment gets riskier, and it invites retaliatory protectionism. Capitalists depend on predictable rules and stable alliances.

2. Capitalists reward innovation, efficiency, and risk-taking. This “peace through profit-sharing” model enriches entrenched elites by locking in monopolistic access to resources (ie Arctic energy) and reconstruction projects.
