🍉 Humanist and geneticist, music loving long covid victim and mum. Hoping this place stays evidence led and free of bigoted conspiracy theorists. More science and cats please.
Lovely, thank you. Just wanted to check you didn't mind!

Hi, I've seen someone on FB share a screenshot of your post with the results in, which I don't see here - so I wondered if you were keen not to have your name going viral. If so, is it ok to use a cropped version of just the DWP response (attached)?

Presumably this involves cracking down on disabled people even harder because we're not starving fast enough yet?
April 9, 2025 at 5:29 PM
Do you genuinely think murder and starvation of Palestinians started 8th October 2023? Because I can assure you it did not. Meanwhile, why do you think you know better than Amnesty, Save the Children and many other human rights organisations? And the ICJ, of course.

One person does not make a cure.

Please don't repost crap studies that make out long covid isn't important. We have ME just by another name, on the whole, and you should care about us too. I wouldn't repost studies that say ME responds to CBT/GET, because it doesn't. Same as LC. The same people minimise both illnesses.

Because the studies it has picked are of very poor quality, this is of very poor quality too. Summarised well here

That BMJ review of Long Covid therapies does not show what it says it does
The BMJ have published a “living systematic review” of interventions for the management of Long Covid. It sets out to gather all relevant studies, and to comb their findings in order to see what works...

What about when he lost to Clinton but somehow gained the presidency? That was more of a lead.

I posted on the union page but what can I, as a housebound monthly subscriber, do to resist this change? I emailed the minute I heard and got some fob off cut and pasted reply.

As a subscriber what can we do to support you? I've already emailed them to complain and got some nonsense reply.

Looking through your posts you seem to be satisfied that ME is a real illness but are consistently post articles minimising LC. Most of us with severe LC do have ME. We are no less ill.

This is a terrible article collating terrible biased papers and consequently drawing terrible incorrect conclusions

Why are you trying to minimise the very real damage done to people by covid? What's in it for you? As a previously very fit person who just bought a wheelchair and who has had conversations about wheelchairs with parents of affected kids and teens, I promise you there are many of us out there.

Maybe I'll do bed to 5m?
