Fun fact: I literally just left these sweet peas in pots in my raised bed all winter and they’re doing the best of all the ways I trialed! They grew out the bottoms of the pots so I’ve just been letting them grow here, along with 1 pea from my cover crop mix.

This anemone just popped up! I did not plant it. It is in a spot next to the driveway where I cleared the weeds last year, lay cardboard and mulch, then planted my own flowers. It’s amazing what survives, dormant, waiting for us to reveal it!

An unexpectedly perfect day in the garden today! Planted out my snapdragon seedlings and the larkspur I WS’d. This lil spot is dedicated to annuals until the Golden Currant grows up. Calling it my Cottage Garden Bed. Tulips are on their way!

Good idea, I increased the crotch length at the front by 1/4 and that helped with camel toe, but in back I might have accidentally reduced it by 1/4”. I increased the curve in front and back and the helped a bit but I think that option to add more length is what I really need. Ty!

Planted out fava beans today! Variety ‘Karmazyn’ from uprisingorganics.com I surrounded them with blue spruce clippings to keep slugs away. Used limbs left over from pruning my Dad’s apple tree as the supports.
