Found out today I’m up for promotion. This is for a role I’ve been waiting for for 3.5 years. Feels surreal. Happy and excited doesn’t cover it. Still have to interview for the role and get selected but goddamn I think I’m going to get this. Holy shit. I can almost taste it.

I try to stay grounded in reality. I’m staying at a hotel that’s brand new, but is built on what used to be the old hospital. A friend said they wouldn’t have stayed here because it’s probably haunted from the old hospital. Laying in bed in the dark and the bathroom light just turned on by itself 👀

The two hour scalp massage lady on TikTok is getting a lot of heat for recommending people massage their scalps for 2 hours for rapid hair growth but damn if it isn’t working. I’ve only been doing it every other day for 8 days and already my hair has noticeably grown. Shook.

I grew up staunchly conservative. The person who first showed me it was ok to think with an open mind and care for other people has since swung back to the right so incredibly hard. Gutted doesn’t even begin to encapsulate how I feel.

I expected it but did not realize mini golfing had gotten so expensive. $9 per kid… I swear it was $2 a kid just yesteryear.

My Mondays always start out with 6+ meetings on my calendar and one by one they slowly start canceling. Started the day with 7 on my calendar. Have attended two, and two have been canceled.
I suspect at least one more will be canceled, possibly two.

Today I got a letter in the mail from Missouri family support division asking me to prove my children are citizens before they will approve their health insurance.
As a taxpayer I want my taxes to pay for healthcare for all children. Horrified at what this means.

I actually cannot tonight. Like my level of cannoting has probably never been seen before. This is a new level of cannot. Previously unseen and unexperienced levels of cannot. Then I remembered I’ve barely eaten this afternoon and can get silly on just 3 of these bad boys. We will try again tomorrow
