So I was fobbed off and felt unwell for longer than I should have because I was told it was my weight that was the problem. It’s like they thought “she’s heavy so we are not going to investigate further”

Totally, like I’m sure my weight is a part of my back pain, but I don’t think it’s the whole picture. A while ago I was exhausted and feeling really ill, was told it was because I was overweight…I kept on asking for bloods and was finally tested.Turns out I’m anaemic and have an underactive thyroid

I have a problem with my back and have been in a lot of pain for about 3 months now. I got told by the doctor that I’m too heavy and strengthening my core muscles would fix it 🙃

I hate those questions. Why is “because you are offering a job and I need a job because I need money that is literally how society works” not acceptable 😂
