It was *really* really hard for me to say fuck it and leave completely. I had my BSKY accounts back when it first open, when you still needed codes, but even then I *still* was using X. I miss the artists and friends that still only use that website. I wish they'd come here.

I totally get it. I spent a *lot* of my social time there after I found out I could interact with my favorite content creators. I built my following on there, I made friends, some who are now my best friends, family even! I have so many fun memories and posts that I don't want to delete

Like I know it hurts to lose your platform but that platform lost its genuine-ness when it became rampant with bots and a broken algorithm. I do not understand why you'd want to build a platform there. And people are so miserable 😭
