My local indie bookstore's 4th of July window display (which is still up) is all anti-fascist books. Honestly the most patriotic thing I've seen in a long while.

Spicy Pixel Noodles.

Today in Moderating Nextdoor Is Fun… we have been threatened with a presidential executive order. 😆

PS: I have blurred her name for privacy sake, but I can confirm it isn’t actually Karen.
A Nextdoor post that was removed, and the author is requesting an appeal. The original post is about how she’s upset that someone posted some flyers about how to avoid ICE. In the screenshot there’s a button to vote, and a link to read her appeal. The authors appeal: “Your removal of my post is in breach of the presidential Free Speech Executive Order. I have screenshot everything and will report to the proper authorities if my post is not reinstated.” There are already two votes to remove and another on the way.

Not only is DuckDuckGo’s AI more accurate than Google’s, it’s also easier to turn off.
