Dude you gotta check out Predator 1&2. They still hold up even near four decades later.

"It's filled with sex, violence, and profanity like I have never seen before". They're making Hazbin Hotel sound really cool.

For sure. We are only two seasons in to a 3(4?) season run so yeah they could follow up on it later.

I'll definitely go back and rewatch for clarity. The instance I was referencing was in Apology Tour(?) where Blitz was calling out Stolas for looking down on him, and Stolas' first move was to deny, even though we've seen him tugging on Blitz's face, and calling him his 'plaything'.

With that all being said, what I will say that the writing of the Hellaverse in general has trouble with is the follow up of addressing depicted flaws. Example being Stolas, while Stolas did save Blitz's life, his personal treatment of Blitz is never truly addressed by the narrative of HB.

Yes she learned the lesson about boundaries with Angel in S1, yes she was warned about the Vee's by all parties around her, but brushing them off in attempt to help the hotel, and at the root, her pride I feel is not only a nice character flaw, but an informed one. It's has precedence.

It's weird how people want her character growth to be strictly linear. I don't think it's implausible for her to have laps in decision making, especially when this is first time she's been proven right. I can buy her stumbling in an attempt to nurse her ego in the face of massive smear campaign.

100% I've started referring to Don’t You Forget (Reprise) as Stayed Gone II

I got money on her killing either Sera or Emily.

Makes sense. He was seen walking around without his staff too. Walking around with your bent to hell, stitched up walking stick would signal to everyone "hey guys I got my ass kicked".

It's shows that while HH doesn't offer any definitive stance of morality (nor does it have to), but a does a good job at using mortality as tool for storytelling in the context of the show.

This is what ultimately makes Sera reconsider the past epoch of her actions, allowing those whose greatest sin was severe spiritual weakness to be judged on the same level as a monster who is actively seeking Heaven's demise.
October 30, 2025 at 3:13 AM
It recontextualizes the population of Hell for both us and and Heaven who judged everyone in the realm on the same level. While Hell is composed of monsters and psychopaths, it's also full of people who are simply "spiritual failures". People who lived in such a way that turns away from God's light

While of course we focus on the extreme end of it: sexual abuse, murder, manipulation and the like, it's rare that we focus on the other end of the spectrum that deals with more personal failings: degeneracy, vanity, and with the addition of Pentious' backstory, cowardice.
