This was excellent. Thank you. Our loss of community as a society needs to be re-found. Sitting with others’ discomfort is an important life skill. Acknowledging ones powerlessness (stoicism) is another. Time does help the journey of healing; “This too shall pass”.

I am so relieved to hear this 😅

I did feel a wee bit sorry for Rosie Wrighting, being wheeled out as cannon fodder to provide cover for the government.

Very simple to implement a policy: if you get a voice on the BBC you have to declare *everyone* you receive funding from, otherwise you don’t get a platform.

Passive income (from wealth) should *never* be taxed less than labour.

Are you referring to the arms treaty that hangs on the whim of an American president?

Great interview. This guy is bullet proof. BTW I don’t think many super-wealthy are paying UK income tax *at all* so Kuenssberg’s “gotcha” graph is just more smoke and mirrors cover for them.

One of the few areas where we disagree. Either tax pension contributions, OR at the point of drawing, but not both. Higher earners will pay more tax when it comes to drawing. Taxing twice is madness and disincentivises saving for a pension at all.
