I know, I just didn't have anything else to add besides the made-up swears thing. I seriously do recommend seeing Steve Shives' video on Star Trek and swearing.

I also recommend Rain by Jocelyn Samara, but that's not relevant to the swearing or communism thing, it just happens to be peak media.

Alot of the impact of swearing is fully removed when you make up a swear. It's that you cannot properly articulate something through language otherwise, so you use an expletive for emphasis.

When you use a word noone sees as a swear, that impact and emphasis isn't felt. I recommend Steve Shives.
