Professional plant nerd, volunteer firefighter, amateur blacksmith, irregular motorcyclist, general wreck on tour.

(and yes that is me but with a little photoshopping)
I'm in my local RFS & attend around 4MVA's a year and average a fatality about every 2 (though recently 3 fatals in 14 months on a 10km stretch), from what I've seen fatigue and stupidity are the main causes around here with drugs and alcohol also up there.

I was once told a potato down your pants is supposed to impress women, though I wish someone told me it was to be down the front.

Not only are these clowns Rapture Ready they're actively working towards it, either that or they really are dumb as a box of rocks.

Missed it by that much! Why have all the fun critters died out?

Glad I've never been, horrible scenery and rude locals, especially my so called mates down there who've offered me places to stay.

It'd only be water, there's reg's as to where it can be dropped and not over waterways (pink stuff is "phoscheck" which is a phosphate with a dye). Those helicopters are only meant for picking up and dropping of water (& it's quicker than going all the way back to base for a load of phoscheck).

The dried leaves of the reeds can burn even when the base of the plants are immersed in water (I was on spotfire lookout in a swamp once, running through ankle, knee, then waist deep water with knapsack on to put out spotfires - not recommended)

I'd keep some for me but there's a whole list of causes that could do with some help.

That would assume Labor MP's had a spine, that hypothesis has little supporting evidence.

It also assumes the Libs/Nat's would back it.

I'll have to send this to my co workers, I'm the token male employee in an NGO with 5 employees.

(& most of my volunteers are elderly women & there's some good cooks among them)

Help, I'm oppressed!

Mumma Chook is very protective, by the time I get the camera out she's usually moved them on to somewhere else.

You could probably say it, but if you wrote it you could have issues.
