A #wipWednesday as a treat! The last time I made leather armor was 10 years ago, for Merida, and I'm enjoying building on what I've learned in the last 10 years. Leather is similar to foam, but different in many ways and even though my pieces aren't perfect, there's fun in being a beginner again too

Here's my WIP for ECCC: lady knight Snow White! The general idea is vaguely historical and I'll be adding leather (and probably foam) armor, so we'll see where we are by early March. None of these pieces are done, but I'm mostly happy with how it's coming along

It's cold and dark and gross outside and this is just so cozy. Yes, it's just an elevated vehicle for a tasty bourbon, but it's been a long week and this feels more luxe than a basic manhattan.
